Conditions and legal terms

1. In case of accident, the Hirer is obliged to immediately inform Moto &

Bike Rent S.L. , which is committed to assist the client during working

hours. Under no circumstances may the Hirer leave the vehicle without

prior authorization from Moto & Bike Rent S.L. . If the Hirer pays for

transport or repair of the vehicle without such authorization, the full cost

will be entirely at their expense.

2. The Hirer will comply with all Traffic and Parking Laws and Regulations

of Spain, and will be personally responsible for any fines incurred.

3. The Hirer confirms that they have inspected the vehicle, verified it is in

good condition, fully equipped, and without damage.

4. The Hirer has received adequate instructions for operating the rented

vehicle.

5. The Hirer is qualified and legally authorized to drive the rented vehicle

in Spain, holds a valid driving license, and meets the minimum legal age

requirements.

6. The Hirer is the only authorized driver. Under no circumstances may

the vehicle be operated by any other person.

7. The vehicle is the property of Moto & Bike Rent S.L. and must be

returned to the rental location at the agreed time. Delays will incur a

surcharge of 20% of the daily rental rate per extra hour.

8. If the Hirer violates conditions 11, 12, 13, or 14 of this contract, it will

become immediately invalid and no refund will be issued.

9. The Hirer will not drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any

intoxicants.

10. The Hirer will not use the vehicle for races, competitions, or similar

activities.

11. Driving is not permitted on unpaved roads or roads not officially

recognized as main roads by the Spanish road authorities. Breach of

this condition will void insurance coverage, making the Hirer fully

responsible for all damages.

12. The Hirer has been informed about the correct fuel type (normally

95 Unleaded) and accepts full responsibility for damages caused by

refueling with the wrong type.

13. To maintain the vehicle in proper condition, the Hirer must visit Moto

& Bike Rent S.L.

’s garage for oil and chain checks every 500 km and

ensure that tyres are correctly inflated.

14. Cleaning the vehicle with high-pressure water is prohibited. Any

damages caused by misuse of water (especially to sensitive electronic

parts) will be charged to the Hirer.

15. The Hirer has been provided with a lock and key to secure the

vehicle when not in use.

16. During the night, the vehicle must be parked at the address

declared as the Hirer’s temporary residence in Gran Canaria (e.g.,

hotel). The vehicle cannot be taken off the island.

17. The Hirer agrees to comply with all terms and limitations of the Third

Party Insurance Policy contracted by Moto & Bike Rent S.L. .

Acceptance of this insurance is mandatory. Misuse that invalidates the

policy makes the Hirer fully liable. A copy of the policy is available for

inspection at the rental office.

18. The Hirer accepts full responsibility for all damages to the vehicle

and agrees to pay the costs to cover such damages.

19. The Hirer accepts full responsibility for theft of the vehicle or any of

its parts, regardless of circumstances. However, if the full insurance

option has been selected, liability is limited to the amount indicated in

the contract as the Security Deposit (Bail Bond) .

20. The Hirer waives any right to claim against Moto & Bike Rent S.L.

or its insurance companies for physical or psychological injuries

resulting from the use of the rented vehicle.

21. The Hirer agrees not to violate any terms of this rental contract or

the insurance policy. Any violation makes the Hirer solely and fully

responsible for all resulting damages or losses.
